Sans bandaid

She won't leave the bandaid on her head anyway, so might as well show the damage:

And the curls, might as well show the curls:

Head, meet bed frame

Are you kidding me? I'm going to put this kid in a bubble. She hit her head in the exact same place that she did last week. Except this time the line was horizontal instead of vertical, and there was blood. Lots of it. It was all over her face, shirt, me, the carpet etc. Luckily, no stitches required. Sigh. Poor kid.

This was taken like 1/2 hour before:
What a way to ruin a Saturday morning.
P.S. She LOVES Ad's dress up necklaces. She puts them on whenever she can get her hands on them.
I'm so lucky.

Finicky Eater

When Coral sees something she might like to eat, she makes this face. It's a very enthusiastic, "Please put that in my mouth as soon as possible."

When she is done (which is often suddenly- she was happily gobbling a piece of turkey the bite before) she does this. Hard to predict, and therefore hard to catch. Usually it ends up on the floor. The carpeted dining room floor. Nice.

Chair, meet head.

Another Addison inexplicable

"Mom! When I was brushing my teeth the bangs on my two front teeth came off!"

"The bangs?"

"YES! You know, the BANGS!" Pointing to her two front teeth.

I'm still mulling that one over.

Random

Just some random photos of our last days in GJ.

Ad pushing Coral on the swing.

One of the fun things about driving to Phoenix was getting to stop and see Karl's Grandma in Blanding. Such a sweet lady.

Birthday Girls

Since we have a lot of catching up to do we'll have to rewind a little. Before we moved we had a combined birthday for these two cuties. Addison turned 5 and Coral turned 1. Where does the time go?

Coral wasn't too sure at first about making a mess.

Changes

We are still alive! Although you might not recognize us anymore. There have been lots of shenanigans in the Martineau household of late. The above pictures are from our big move to a new state (again- can we stop doing that for a while?).

Stay tuned for more updates on things like: Moving to AZ, Addison starts kindergarten and Karl starts medical school, Coral is walking, and Kristin is getting used to being a married, single mom.

Don't be disappointed. More coming soon.

Mom is funny

Six months old.

"I'm so cute and happy because I have fantastic cheeks." Don't you just wanna kiss those?

Addison always wants to give Coral a ride around. It will be much easier when Momma doesn't have to keep up. :)

Addison lost her two bottom teeth two months ago. Right at the same time Coral was getting her two bottom teeth. Weird.
Hello there. Remember us? We have a lot of catching up to do. But I won't bore you with the details.

In brief:

We moved

I'm pretty sure Autumn was saying, "I don't want to play in your strange little house. Let me out of here!"

Watching a movie in a box is cool.

Sisters are way more fun than parents.

Karl is a good bench for four little girls.

Me and Coral (who, by the way is almost 7 months now!)
