We had our sunday school class over for a barbeque tonight. It was fun and it made us thankful to be adults. Or at least old enough that we can pretend that we are, and people sometimes believe us. The kids in our class seem to believe it. Don't anyone tell them.

They are fourteen and fifteen, and it's funny how they still seperate into boys and girls. The boys were the most interested in the food, and hitting each other with empty pringles cans. The girls were mostly interested in all the "cuteness" . . . boys included.

The girls found our big chicken candle in the office after exploring our house while taking turns going to the bathroom. I let them take it home, since they loved it and we have had it forever and could never figure out what to do with it.

The girls wanted to see the nursery, so I let them go in there to look at it. They scared me because they all started screaming and I thought something was wrong at first. Then I realized it was the sound of delighted teenage girls. Oh ya, I think I did that once or twice a long time ago. The biggest fiasco of the night was that we overestimated their attention span and tried to play cranium. It didn't last, and they finally gave up and went home. I think though, that overall it was a success!
