Ad is such a good big sister. She is constantly kissing this baby and bringing her toys (aka piling them on me while I am feeding her) and running little errands for me. What a sweet girl.
Coral is doing great. Last time I weighed her she was over 9 lbs! She is chubby and happy and super snuggly. She has cracked a few smiles (still trying to get a photo of one) and is looking more like a baby and less like a newborn. She still isn't a fan of the pacifier, although Karl can get her to take it- I can't. Also- as much as I try to fight it- she is a side sleeper. I put her on her back and somehow she gets to her side. Every time. Stinker. Oh yes-crying. This kiddo has no warm up phase. She goes from happy to furious with no warning in between. At least she has a super cute sad face. I am equally heart broken and amused when she cries.

See?
Time flies. Why didn't the last month of my pregnancy go this fast? July has come and is nearly gone and I have hardly noticed it. The past month has been a blur. It has consisted of this:
welcoming a new child into our family
recovery for me
nearly constant visits
trying to get enough sleep (and never quite getting it)
trying to keep Addison busy and give her enough attention
somehow wading through two online summer classes
Eventful, to say the least, and mostly fun. But I am glad things are settling down. I'm looking forward to getting into a routine and having a little break before school starts again. This weekend we are going to GJ to visit my family. Then I have a few projects planned- a few things to keep me busy around the house- a blessing dress to make, a baby quilt to finish, and some of this- (With Karl's help. But may I emphasize HELP. He is not allowed to do it for me.)
Hopefully, some it will actually get done. :)
