They also measured her and gave us all those percentages that people like to hear. So far she doesn't have the notorious Martineau "head" (like her dad did). It measures in the 25th percentile for baby noggins. But she did get some stuff from her dad. Her length/height is 23 inches, which puts her in the 90th percentile for baby girls. She weighed in at exactly 11 pounds, which means she has gained five since her birth. That puts her in the 75th percentile for weight. The doctors and nurses were all amazed at her sweet disposition through the whole ordeal, and told us that we have a great baby. Which we already knew.
She had some moments of surpassing cuteness tonight, with big smiles and her best cooo's yet. It's amazing how easily a little person can melt a big person's heart! Becoming a parent is truly a life-changing experience, but in the best way that I can imagine.

I remember having to hold little legs down so the nurse could give a shot when I worked at Pediatric care- the parents couldn't do it...way to be brave guys!! She looks as cute as ever! I'm glad to hear she is getting chubbier..just like her Aunt Allison!
