Misc updates

This week brought us Addison's very first Halloween! We got her a cute little costume and were all set for her to be the hit of the ward party, and then they cancelled it. Bumma. What's a little duck girl to do when she's all dressed up and there's nowhere to go?

Kristin took her to work, where everybody loved her, and we actually took her with us to go deliver cookies to our sunday school class, so she got to spend some time in it after all. Kristin decorated Addison's nursery with butterflies (if you haven't seen, there's a picture in one of our very first posts) and now Addie just loves them. She's so much fun these days!

Addison also has the funniest hair. She has this long rooster tail right on top, and then a bald spot, and then a little mullet/rat-tail in the back. It has finally started to grow, and so it looks thicker now, but that just seems to add to the humor of it somehow. This picture is an attempt to catch her hair in all its glory.

And finally, I got the information about my new vintage guitar, straight from the company. It's actually a 1959 Supro Belmont. The guy from the company said it looked like it was in great shape, and I agree. I put nice soft strings on it, so it would be gentle to Kristin's fingers as she learns to play. This is what it looks like all cleaned up.

I look forward to seeing the Supra (and maybe even playing it). I am glad Addie enjoyed her first Halloween.

That really is a good looking guitar (and duck girl too). Rock on.
