The posts have been slowing down. So have we. There are so many changes and transitions going on for all of us right now. Addison is trying to get used to a somewhat regular schedule of feeding and sleeping, interspersed rarely by those fun alert moments. Kristin and I are trying to get used to our new schedule. I feel like we are now on a 24 hour day, and occasionally we get to take naps. I kind of like it, since I hate sleeping (which should come as no surprise to those of you who know me well). Kristin is having a rougher time of it (she loves to sleep). In all fairness I should say that Kristin is up with the baby more too. If you've never tried such a thing you might not know this, but sleep math isn't the nice linear kind. 2 hours + 2 hours + 2 hours + 2 hours does NOT equal 8 hours. I would guess it's closer to . . . five and a half? Who knows. Even with all the night-time interruptions though I feel way better than when our poor daughter was in the hospital.
But we're actually doing really well. It's been lots of fun to be with our baby a lot more; having her out of the hospital is the greatest thing that's happened to us in a long time. So what else is going on? That's pretty much it! we go on walks when we get the chance, which is fun for all of us. Finals are coming up. Ugh. I don't think I'm going to take classes next semester. Instead I'll just study at home and get ready for the MCAT in August. And that's pretty much us. I'll be posting some more pictures tomorrow, or maybe I'll twist Kristin's arm and make her do another post.
