Addie continues to improve a little bit day by day, but isn't quite ready to be weaned off the oxygen. It's been fairly frustrating for both of us to not be able to bring our baby home. We keep telling ourselves that we are happy she is there and getting the attention and care that she needs, but when it comes right down to it, we would really rather have her home. It's so hard to put her down and walk out of the hospital. We never want to leave, but have to start living our lives again. We are going to have a family fast for Addison tomorrow, and would ask any who are able and willing to participate with us in showing our faith. Perhaps the most frustrating thing about Addie being in the hospital is that there really isn't anything we can do to help her, but this is one way we can.
One last picture, on a more humorous note. The transition to being parents is an interesting one, and I always find myself slightly amazed at the things we do for our daughter already. Here is one example.

Never in my life would I have dreamed of making bottle-parts soup.
